While media reports have suggested a combined payout of roughly £100 million, neither Mourinho nor the clubs have confirmed the exact amount.Jose Mourinho is one of the most sought-after football managers in Europe. He won the Champions League with the Portuguese club FC Porto and the Italian club Inter Milan. He has also won the top-flight domestic league titles with FC Porto, Chelsea FC, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid. During his successful stint as a manager, Mourinho has also been sacked four times, while he left Real Madrid on mutual consent in 2012. His latest sacking came at Tottenham Hotspur (2021) in England after his relationship reportedly became sour with many senior Spurs players, including club captain Harry Kane. Upon Mourinho's Spurs departure, reports started to surface, claiming that the Portuguese manager has netted a fortune of around £100 million following his contracts being prematurely terminated by many clubs. But none of the clubs have officially declared the contractual details with Jose Mourinho. Apart from media reports and people claiming to know the contractual details and the payout at the time of Mourinho's sacking, we couldn't find any proper pieces of evidence to confirm the exact amount pocketed by Jose Mourinho. Thus we cannot presently confirm the net payout Mourinho has received after being sacked during his managerial career.
