Facebook sued Compsys Domain Solutions Private Ltd, for issuing 12 domains impersonating its products like Instagram and WhatsApp. Facebook sued an Indian based company called Compsys Domain Solutions in Virginia for issuing 12 domains impersonating its products. According to Facebook, these 12 domain names were designed to deceive people by impersonating its family of apps. Some of the domain names included facebook-verify-inc.com, instagramhjack.com and videocall-whatsapp.com. This is not the first time Facebook has taken legal action against malicious websites. Earlier, the company had filed a lawsuit in Arizona against a domain registrar company called Namecheap.
