The Union of European Football Associations Executive Committee has confirmed that UEFA women’s Euro 2021 tournament has been postponed to July 2022. News reported on 23 April 2020, said that the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Executive Committee has confirmed the postponed UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 to be played in England from 6 July to 31 July 2022 following the global outbreak of COVID-19 and to protect the health of all those involved in the game. UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin said that they are ensuring that their flagship women’s competition will be the only the major football tournament of the summer, providing it with the spotlight it deserves.
