A post by Donald Trump's official Facebook page used an image from protests in Ukraine in 2014 to show violence in the United States. Donald Trump's official Facebook account shared an image where on the left, one can see Donald Trump speaking with police officers in a calm setting, and the one on the left is of a security official being surrounded by protesters. The image is titled 'Public safety v/s chaos and violence.' The BBC reported that the picture on the right was not taken in 2020 and didn't show an incident from the United States. This image was taken in 2014 and showed a clash between police and protesters in Ukraine. Photographer Mstyslav Chernov took this photograph in February 2014 during a protest in Kyiv, Ukraine. Chernov also confirmed to Business Insider that the Trump ad did use his photo from Ukraine in 2014.
