Studies conducted by Cytologists show that an adult human body comprises of over 100 trillion individual cells. The cell is the fundamental organizational unit of life. All living things are composed of cells, which can be further subdivided based on the presence or absence of the nucleus. A human body is composed of close to fifty to a hundred trillion cells, which show high diversity in their sizes, structure, numbers, and function. Almost all of these 100 trillion cells in the human body contain a copy of the entire human genome, which is a complete set of genetic instructions necessary to build a human being.
