The Harvard Business Review's report confirms the prediction by Pierre Haren and David Simchi-Levi on the impact of global supply and demand.Pierre Haren and David Simchi-Levi predicted that thousands of companies and manufacturing plants in the United States and Europe would be temporarily shut down. The shut down will disrupt global supply chains as well as demand for goods and services at scale in mid-March due to the economic impact of the coronavirus outbreak. The most vulnerable companies are those which rely massively on factories in China for parts and materials as the activity of Chinese manufacturing plants has declined in the past month and it is foreseen to remain pessimistic for months. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation.
