Abdurrahman Goodinabali's exclusive statement to The Times of India confirms that he spent his Haj savings for a COVID-19 relief fund.The article reports that a farmworker from Karnataka named Abdurrahman used his Haj savings for the needy who lost livelihood due to COVID-19 pandemic. Abdurrahman said that he was saving money for many years to fulfil his dream to visit the holy places of Islam and to perform Haj. Moreover, Abdurrahman declined to reveal the amount that he saved for the pilgrimage, whereas sources said that he handed out provisions valued about ₹80,000.
