Facebook removed fifty-four Facebook accounts, fifty pages, and four accounts on Instagram, linked to Roger Stone and his associates.The inauthentic accounts and pages created by the Roger Stone network had posed as being from Florida residents. It also posted misinformation regarding local politics. Further, the people behind the pages had spent $308,000 on Facebook advertising. The whole network was most active on other internet platforms around the 2016 U.S. primaries and general election, between 2015 and 2017.
