Politician Brandon Lewis confirms the new guidelines for wearing masks when someone pays for takeaways, including food and drinks. In an interview, he said that when someone visits a place where they are going to purchase a product and leave, like coffee shops and takeaways, those should be treated like shops, and it's mandatory to wear face masks. It will be the law to wear a face-covering in shops and supermarkets in England from July 24, with £100 fines for rule-breakers. But people won't have to wear a mask in restaurants or bars, because it is impractical to do so while eating or drinking. In other words, If you're sitting down and eating in the takeaway, you don't need a mask. But if you're paying for food or drink, then taking it out, you do need a mask.
