The weekly number of new COVID-19 cases has reached high between August 27 and September 02, since the launch of Test and Trace.The total number of reported COVID-19 cases in England has increased to 43%, with 9,864 new cases in the week from August 27 to September 2, 2020. According to the latest data released by the government on September 10, 2020, it's the highest number of weekly positive cases since the launch of the test and trace mission in May. The Test and Trace scheme was initiated as key for locating outbreaks quickly. In its weekly update, it stated that 32,359 people were identified as having come into close contact with someone who had tested positive, and 69.2% of those were reached and asked to self-isolate.
