Apple has started manufacturing one of its flagship devices, the iPhone 11 in Chennai’s Foxconn plant in Tamil Nadu.Apple's iPhone 11 is its latest flagship mobile device. This phone is being manufactured at Foxconn's plant in Chennai, Tamilnadu. Previously, the Cupertino-based tech giant had started assembling the iPhone XR in India's Foxconn plant. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal also had tweeted about the manufacturing of iPhone 11 and said there are plans to make the iPhone SE 2020 in India at Foxconn's Wistron plant near Bangalore. The local assembly of the iPhone 11 would help the company avoid a 20 percent tax that is being paid for importing the handset from its global manufacturing facilities. Even Electronics & Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad tweeted about the manufacturing Apple iPhone 11.
