U.S. drugmaker Pfizer's Chief Executive Albert Bourla said in an online briefing that it had enrolled 23,000 volunteers in the phase three trial that began in late July, and expected to include up to 30,000 participants between the ages of 18 and 85 across 120 sites globally. He announced that if the trials are successful, they wish to submit for the final regulatory approval as early as October.
