Adar Poonawalla said that the COVID-19 vaccine would cost under Rs 1,000 per dose.Adar Poonawalla, the CEO of the Serum Institute of India, said that they would produce 3 to 4 million doses of Oxford's COVID-19 vaccine, which will cost under Rs 1,000 per dose. He also said the vaccine would be purchased from Serum by the government under the national vaccination project. Covisheild will be bought by the government and distributed for free.
