The bill prevents or prohibits an ammunition vendor from carrying out a transaction if the background investigation results show that a purchaser is prohibited from owning a firearm. The bill is proposed to be enacted on Oct. 1, 2021. If passed, a minimum $1,000 fine would be levied in case of violation.
