The Maharastra Transport Minister Anil Parab said that no e-pass required to travel to Konkan till August 12 for celebrating the Ganesh festival.The Maharastra government has announced guidelines for devotees travelling to Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri districts in Konkan to celebrate the 10-day Ganesh festival, from 22 August, resuming inter-district travel during the lockdown. The passengers travelling by State Transport bus would not need an e-pass whereas those travelling in other vehicles will require one.
