The Guardian has never published such an article and the viral screenshot is from a parody account.
Context
Clashes in Amsterdam between Israeli football fans and pro-Palestine protesters have continued to make international headlines.
One post (archived here) on X (formerly Twitter) claims to show a headline for an opinion piece published on November 7 by media outlet The Guardian, which reads, "I don't have a problem with Jews being hunted on the streets of Europe."
A screenshot of the headline was shared on Facebook (archived here) with the caption, "I have a problem with that," on November 8. In the screenshot, the article is attributed to Guardian columnist Owen Jones. Jones has previously authored opinion pieces that are critical of Israel's attacks in the Gaza Strip.
However, he didn't author this article, as it does not exist.
What we found
The first clue that the screenshot may not be genuine is that it misspells The Guardian as "The Grauniad." This is a popular nickname for the publication given to it by the satirical publication Private Eye due to the previous frequency of typographical errors in The Guardian's articles. This term is also used in the name of the X account that first published the screenshot (archived here), which also specifies that it is "both satire and parody."

The title also does not appear on the Guardian website under the list of articles written by Jones.
Logically Facts contacted The Guardian and Owen Jones. The Guardian press office stated that the screenshot "is not and never has been a Guardian headline or article."
Jones responded similarly, telling Logically Facts, "I would never write such an abhorrent article and have consistently written columns opposing antisemitism over many years." He also shared a column he has previously written condemning antisemitism, titled "Anti-Jewish hatred is rising — we must see it for what it is." The article is still available on The Guardian website.
The verdict
A screenshot claiming to show an article published by The Guardian titled, "I don't have a problem with Jews being hunted on the streets of Europe," has gone viral on social media. However, the article does not appear on The Guardian website. The screenshot was first published by a parody account on X. While clearly labeled parody and not misinformation as it does not present itself as the truth, it can become misinformation when shared as though it were genuine. We have therefore rated this claim false.
