The video clip is related to an incident that took place in Brazil and not in the U.S.A video is doing rounds on social media claiming that U.S.-consumers violated social distancing at supermarkets to grab essentials amid the coronavirus pandemic. Upon performing a reverse search of keyframes of the video we found that the video was taken on 21 November 2019, at Brazilian Lojas Americanas shopping centre in Recife, Pernambuco as the company opened its store in advance to celebrate its Red Friday. A Brazilian news channel also corroborated this incident and said that Black Friday sale witnessed a rush of customers creating chaos. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation.
