Clinical trials on patients with mild to moderate symptoms were carried out using both Ayurvedic and Regular treatment, but it needs further research. The trial was conducted in Victoria Hospital, where ten COVID-19 patients were treated using a mix of ayurvedic and regular treatment. Dr. Giridhar Kaje, who initiated the ayurvedic treatment said that the trial showed good results even on comorbid patients. Further, he stated that they are in the process of testing on more number of patients to validate and get approval for the medicine. Currently, the medication has not been approved by any legal body. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation. For reliable advice on COVID-19 including symptoms, prevention and available treatment, please refer to the World Health Organisation or your national healthcare authority.
