World Health Organisation in its coronavirus related health advisory asked the public to avoid unprotected contact with wild or farm animals. An edited coronavirus related health advisory graphic which stated to evade unprotected sex with farm animals was widely circulated in social media. The World Health Organisation in a tweet on 28 January 2020 posted a graphic image recommending the public to avoid unprotected contact with live, wild or farm animals. But some of the social media users have changed the graphic blunting that line into “avoid unprotected sex with live, wild or farm animals”. World Health Organisation's official website has also revealed the standard instructions for the general public to reduce exposure to and transmission of a range of illnesses are as follows, which include hand and respiratory hygiene, safe food practices and also to avoid direct unprotected contact with live animals. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation. For reliable advice on COVID-19 including symptoms, prevention and available treatment, please refer to the World Health Organisation or your national healthcare authority.
