Tamil Nadu has extended the lockdown till July 31, not till September 15, 2020.The government of Tamil Nadu has announced an increase in the lockdown period to curb the coronavirus pandemic in the state due to the increasing number of cases. The government has extended the lockdown till July 31, 2020. There will be a complete lockdown in Chennai and other parts in the nearest district, including Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, and Madurai city, as well as Kancheepuram. Apart from this, a complete lockdown on all Sundays will continue. The government relaxed restrictions on business activities in most parts from July 01. But the state government didn’t issue any orders to extend the lockdown till September 15, 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation.
