False: The Indian Government is considering a 30% salary cut for employees.

The Finance Ministry denied reports that the central government is going to cut salaries of its employees by 30% amid the coronavirus pandemic. Times Now, a news channel, had claimed that the Government of India is planning to cut salaries of its employees by 30%. In response, the Finance Ministry dismissed the reports and said that the claim is baseless and false. The Minister of Personnel also clarified that the news being circulated in media about salary deduction is fake.
