False: PM Modi appointed drone wiz Prathap as a DRDO scientist.

The claim that drone wiz Prathap was inducted into the DRDO by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is false and baseless.A viral message on social media claims that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has admitted Prathap NM from Karnataka, builds drones from e-waste into the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). However, Prathap denied that the prime minister offered him a job as a DRDO scientist. He does not have a Master's degree yet, which is a minimum requirement to obtain an entry-level position as a scientist at the DRDO. Moreover, the Prime Minister cannot appoint anyone officially. The Indian government's Recruitment and Assessment Center states that to be recruited into the organization as a scientist at the entry-level, one must have a First Class Master's degree in Science Subjects, Mathematics, or Psychology, or First Class Degree in Engineering or Technology or Metallurgy, from a recognized University or Equivalent.
