The central government's web directory has details of all government schemes. It does not show any listing of any scheme as described in the claim.A WhatsApp forward claiming the government will be providing ₹2,000 as a relief to each citizen of the country has gone viral on social media platforms. The message has a link that recipients can click to claim the amount. On clicking the link, users get redirected to another link: https://india-relief-funds.blogspot.com/. Although the message claims that the website is government-run, it does not have a gov.in or nic.in domain, which all government websites compulsorily have. The government of India web directory which is a one-point source for accessing all government websites did not show any relevant results matching the description of the scheme on searching for relief funds.
