The claim that forwarding good morning messages on WhatsApp can lead to theft of data from a phone is false and baseless.There are no official reports or announcements regarding the viral message that claims that sending good morning messages on WhatsApp will lead to theft of personal data. The fake warning has mentioned that the Chinese hackers embedded phishing codes within the pictures and movies that used in greeting messages. The message claims that it came from the Shanghai International News. A similar warning message circulated in 2017 and 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, and later it was found to be fake.
