The image, taken in 2012, depicts George Soros with his wife, Tamiko Bolton. Contrary to the claim, the woman is not the daughter of Manmohan Singh.
What’s the claim?
A viral image on social media purportedly depicts a woman sitting on American billionaire and philanthropist George Soros' lap. The claim suggests this woman is the daughter of former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
The image features Hindi text, which translates to: "The daughter of Manmohan Singh, the former Prime Minister of India when Congress was in power, in a compromising position with George Soros, who is working against Narendra Modi in India. Has Manmohan Singh's daughter stooped so low in opposing the country? This is something to consider. This is why Modiji used to say — Manmohan Singh wore a raincoat while bathing. — What was the reason — this fund was coming to India... Another one in the band of traitors." The image also includes the text "George Soros + Manmohan Daughter."
An X (formerly Twitter) user shared the image with the caption: "Who prepared George Soros, who spent money like water to defeat Modi government, for a thing like this? What is this relationship called?"
The image was also shared on Facebook; an archived version can be found here.

However, this claim is false. The woman in the viral image is Tamiko Bolton, Soros' wife, not Manmohan Singh's daughter.
Here are the facts
A reverse image search revealed that the picture dates back to 2012. The New York Times published this image in an August 12, 2012 report, with the caption: "George Soros and his fiancée, Tamiko Bolton." The image was credited to photographer Myrna Suarez.
The report stated that Soros got engaged to his then-girlfriend, Bolton, on August 11, 2012, at his Southampton home in New York, adding that this would be his third marriage. The Guardian also posted a cropped version of the same image in its report with the caption: "Billionaire investor George Soros with his fiancee Tamiko Bolton."
We also found a Reuters report featuring a different image of the couple, smiling at the camera. The caption read: "Billionaire investor George Soros and girlfriend Tamiko Bolton are pictured at Soros' residence in Southampton, New York August 11, 2012. Soros had a lot to celebrate on Saturday evening: his 82nd birthday and the engagement to his much younger girlfriend Tamiko Bolton. Soros and Bolton, who met in spring 2008, formally announced their engagement at a party at Soro's summer home in Southampton, N.Y. attended by a small group of friends and relatives, according to a person familiar with the trader." This image was also attributed to Myrna Suarez.
It's important to note that Singh has three daughters: Upinder Singh, a historian and professor; Daman Singh, a writer; and Amrit Singh, a professor and human rights lawyer.
A comparison of photographs of Singh's daughters with the woman in the viral image clearly shows that none of them match.

The verdict
An image of George Soros and his wife, Tamiko Bolton, taken at his house in New York on August 11, 2012, has been shared with the false claim that the woman in the image is the daughter of former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
