There has been no official confirmation issued by the Kenyan government to deploy the Massai tribe as claimed. A viral message being circulated on social media claims that the Kenyan government is using the Maasai tribe to implement the curfew after the police there failed to implement it as part of the COVID-19 curfew. On verifying the original video available on YouTube, we found that the video under the name Mbuzi Seller was made to create awareness to maintain social distance. Also, there are a series of videos with descriptions saying that they were created for entertainment purpose. The same video was shared in Twitter with caption Kenya Mbuzi Seller takes the initiative to enforce social distancing. By looking into other videos of his, it is clear he makes pranks and funny videos. This video is a prank video made to educate people on social distancing. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation.
