The claim regarding the death of all technicians who worked at the Wuhan lab is part of a fake viral WhatsApp message that is baseless.We found the claim about the death of lab technicians in Wuhan in a message that had gone viral, and the message had been attributed to Tasuku Honjo, Professor of Kyoto University. The University released a statement saying that Dr. Tasuku Honjo had never made such a statement. There was also a rumor regarding Chinese virologist Shi Zhengli’s absence since December, which she dismissed on WeChat.
