Facebook Vice President of Safety and Integrity clarified that posts got taken down due to a bug in the anti-spam system.On March 17, 2020, many Facebook users took to different social media platforms to complain they were not able to post articles from several legitimate news outlets such as Buzzfeed, Business Insider, The Atlantic, and The Times of Israel. When people tried to share or post articles, their posts were flagged as spam. Later, Facebook VP of Integrity Guy Rosen tweeted that there was a bug in the platform's anti-spam system, which they were trying to fix and that all deleted posts would be brought back.
