The Chinese Supreme Court did not make any judgement about euthanising 20,000 coronavirus patients on 7 February 2020.The original article was seen in the misleading post published on a website entitled City News on February 6, 2020. This website where the claim appeared, has a history of producing hoax reports. Ab-tc.com does not have an “About Us” section with details of who is running the platform. On 30 January 2020, the Government of Singapore had cited an article published on the website ‘City News’ (AB-TC) and mentioned that the website had made a false statement. As per the home page of the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China, there is no order given by the court or sought by China to kill the coronavirus patients to control the virus spread as on 21 February 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation.
