The message appealing to pray for the kid who shot himself with the nail guns from 2010 and there are no incident reports regarding it. A prayer request circulating in social networking sites urges the readers to help get a prayer chain continued for a 22-month-old baby, who is supposedly in a critical condition after shooting himself with a nail gun. The message even asks the reader to forward the information to their contacts to gather prayers that will help the little boy recover. The little boy's story was first posted in the DIY chatroom in February 2009, a reminder to unplug power tools when not in use. On October 15, 2010, it was picked up as a prayer request, which went viral on social media. Details about the nailer accident described in the message remain unverified. There are no such reports in the mainstream media currently about the incident. The same messages were again circulated in 2016. The story widely circulated on social networking sites gets revived frequently since the time it was posted in 2010.
