Amazon is not distributing any gifts. A spam link is being circulated on social media. A shopping portal link purportedly from Amazon claiming that it provides its customers with exclusive gifts including 100 computer units and mobile devices, and 50 cash prizes of between $50 to $5000 have become viral on social media. Logically tried accessing the link, which led to a webpage with a suspicious domain showing the Christmas presents from Amazon, for which the right gift box has to be opened. For settling the gift, the directions on the next page had to be followed, which directed that the link needs to be shared with 20 friends on WhatsApp. There is no such contest/offer currently announced by the company connected with Christmas, and the link is fake.
