The video of a boy washing apples in a sewage drain next to where he has parked his cart was recorded in Pakistan.A reverse image search of one of the keyframes of the video reveals that the video circulated on the internet was surfaced in August 2019 and it is not from India. The video has been posted by two Pakistani Facebook pages Kohenoor news and Native Pakistan to raise awareness about the significance of cleanliness and health. The News International, Pakistan also reports on the video in an article emphasising the importance of hygiene and food safety. Hence, it proves that the video is from Pakistan and not from India. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation.
