The text on the post could imply the vaccine side-effects resulted in the girl's collapse. It has not been confirmed what led to the incident. A screenshot of a January 17 game at the Australian Open in which a ball girl collapsed was shared with the text, "Ball girl just collapsed at the Australian Open And most of you was bashing Novak for standing up for something which can save lives." The text insinuates the girl's medical condition deteriorated due to the Coronavirus jab, in addition to stating ace tennis player Novak Djokovic took the suitable stand by saying he was "opposed to vaccination". The screenshot was from a clip that went viral on Monday, which showed tennis players Pedro Martinez and Federico Delbonis racing to help the ball girl who collapsed during their first-round match. The girl was taken to a courtside seat, checked by tournament medical staff, and her condition improved after resting in the ball kids lounge, Australias 7NEWS reported. A Tennis Australia spokesperson told 7NEWS.com.au that the girl was feeling unwell and will now rest at home before returning to Australian Open duties next week. Although some cited rising temperatures as the reason, there has been no official statement on the incident. The girl's vaccination status is also unknown. Therefore, the implicit claim that the COVID-19 vaccine could have led to the girl's collapse is baseless and false. On Sunday, Djokovic was deported from Australia after losing a bid to stay in the country to defend his Australian Open title despite not being vaccinated against COVID-19.
