Over the decades-long run of the animated sitcom The Simpsons, the show has made repeatedly headlines for episodes that seem to predict the future. Some famous “predictions” include Donald Trump becoming president, the riots at Capitol Hill, and even a deadly pandemic. Were these actually predictions? Are the show's writers psychic? We spoke to showrunner Bill Oakley and Logically columnist Tom Whyman, who regularly writes about the Simpsons.
